I have been having a hard time after divorce so I teamed up with an organization that helps family's by having them adopted by other families for christmas gift. When I opened my daughters gift I was so touched. Inside there was a card that said"I hope you have a merry christmas". I wanted so bad to thank the person that adopted my kids but I could not. Gift of joy
Sitting here with my kids the day after christmas surrounded with gift wrappers i realize that the joy of gift giving has been accomplished but I realise something more. The real gift I got is sitting here with my kids, off from work and just enjoying the moment. The true gift is joy and happiness.
